Men with Shaved Heads Look 13% Stronger Than Men with Hair

So much for silver foxes. Rachel Emma Silverman of the Wall Street Journal reports on a study from Albert Mannes, a lecturer at Wharton, which in one of its tests found that subjects perceived men with shaved heads as about 13 percent stronger than men with more hair. The shaved men were also seen as an inch taller.

That said, Mannes' study also proved that balding isn't as beautiful as bald. Silverman writes men whose hair was thinning were considered least attractive: "For those men, the solution could be as cheap and simple as a shave."
