The MENTIS and TierData partnership provides customers with fine grained controls to secure and optimize both production and non-production database environments. The joint solution leverages data classifications and multi-dimensional policies to segment and secure data, providing a much higher level of context aware security and administration. In production environments users are limited to smaller, targeted and secure sets of data using a combination of TierData AutoPilot’s data segmentation and MENTIS dynamic data masking capabilities. For non-production databases AutoPilot rapidly creates intelligent subsets along business dimensions (time, business unit, region etc.) coupled with MENTIS static data masking capabilities to de-indentify and secure real data used for test and development.
