Metro-North to restore trains west of Hudson
Metro-North is restoring all trains west of the Hudson on Monday; some will still stop in NJ
SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. (AP) -- Metro-North says it will be running all of its trains west of the Hudson River starting Monday. It will be the first time since Superstorm Sandy.
The service will be restored to seven trains on the Pascack Valley and Port Jervis lines.
Some Port Jervis Line trains will continue to make stops in New Jersey to support NJ Transit's recovery efforts
NJ Transit provides passenger service in New York's Rockland and Orange counties under contract with Metro-North Railroad.
