Mike Tyson ‘Lip Sync Battle’ Features Fist Pumping, Air Humping in ‘Push It’ Performance (Video)

Mike Tyson can not only punch, he can push it (real good). Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like he can dance so great or keep the mic up to his mouth — but the energy was on point.

The former heavyweight champion of the world recently took his turn on Spike TV’s “Lip Sync Battle,” singing Salt-N-Pepa’s 1986 hit “Push It.” Tyson, in proper attire, threw punches and humped the air through the roughly 25-second clip.

His competition was the equally physically imposing Terry Crews, who stars on Fox’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”

“Lip Sync Battle,” which began as a recurring segment on Jimmy Fallon‘s “Tonight Show,” comes from John Krasinski and Stephen Merchant. Fallon’s Eight Million Plus Productions is also involved, as is Matador.

LL Cool J hosts the half-hour program; Chrissy Teigen plays the sidekick role.

Tyson vs. Crews debuts Thursday, April 23 at 10 p.m.
