    Miley Cyrus chopped off her hair on Sunday night and debuted a spiky pixie cut.

    The 19-year-old documented the transformation on Twitter starting with a series of cryptic messages.

    "it's happening," Miley teased before showing off her new 'do, created by stylist Chris McMillan.

    And Miley's not wasting any time on her hair haters.

    "if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. my hair is attached to my head no one else's and it's going bye bye," she said after posting several photos of her new look.

    The young stars appears to be loving her new look.

    "Never felt more me in my whole life," she wrote, followed by, "Bliss... feeling so happy in my skin... feel so happy, pretty, and free."

    In 2008, Miley predicted that she would get this cut in the future. At the time she told ABC News, "One day I'm going to cut my hair like [Twiggy], I know I am" she said of the iconic British model and trademark hairstyle. "I will one day."
