And make sure to look good when turning on the cam -- clean up the room, wear a shirt, and turn on the lights.

    2. Being too eager. Don't single out a particular person, but rather make an introduction to everyone. When entering a video chat room, listen to the conversation, then greet everyone and try to contribute to the current topic. Bare in mind that many people may visit the same chat room regularly and may know each other very well, so take time to make friends and avoid tasteless comments. Become a regular in a room of your choice, this will give an opportunity to make friends and get to know people in a casual video chat setting.

    3. Begging or demanding. Asking girls to expose themselves, inquiring about their "vitals", or asking to point cams elsewhere but their faces usually leads to sounding desperate and getting ignored quickly. It is always the best to get to know someone in a casual video chat environment without making unnecessary sexual advances.

    Dating and meeting people online is an exciting and rewarding experience. Avoiding these few common mistakes can help someone to find a video chat date faster.
