A ‘Mistletoe Drone’ Is Flying Around San Francisco And Pressuring Couples To Kiss

If that peppermint hot chocolate wasn't giving you heartburn, this just might: there's a mistletoe-adorned drone zipping around the skies of San Francisco and hovering over couples' heads in an effort to make them swap spit, because holidays or whatever.
Obviously the idea came from two "interactive artists" named George Zisiadis and Mustafa Khan who have been creepily navigating it in the city's Union Square area. In a two minute video posted on YouTube, couples are seen being pressured to kiss each other while the flying robots creep over them looking on. (There are a few gay couples in there too, so we're excited to see how this is woven into the plot of Looking!)
Mr. Zisiadis told the Bold Italic that he wanted to change people's perceptions about the unmanned aerial vehicles that is mostly associated with murdering people into something a bit more cherry!
"Drones have been causing all sorts of paranoia lately and I wanted to reframe them from being something scary and ominous to being fun and human," he said. "It's not about the technology, its about how we use it."
God only knows what they have planned for Valentine's Day.
