The title above should have been Moderate quake sparks panic in one of the cities in the Philippines

Are quakes getting often? Or just the news getting often talking about quakes?

The water in my aquarium just shook, does that mean the end of the world is near? hahahaha so many crazies in this world.

For me I think this is only the sign na malapit na ang second coming ni Jesus Christ. As what the Bible says "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh".

Pauwi akong Valencia City kagabii.. napansin ko brown-out. Yun pala dahil sa malakas na lindol. Sakay ako ng boss kaya di ko naramdaman. Pero talagang malakas ang lindol na yun kasi natumba ang loud speaker namin at nahulog ang Wimax router. Butit na lang ang nakahigot sa lubid ang computer system unit ko, kaya hindi nahulog. Nanigurado na ako dahil sa nakaraang sunod sunod na yanig dito sa Bukidnon.

Earthquakes happen everyday.

Well...the fact that the Bible specifically says in the end days "there will be earthquakes in diverse places" explains why it's important to actually KNOW that there are earthquakes happening in diverse places.
If you were sitting in an ice hut in Antartica reading a book with no one telling you that there were earthquakes in diverse places, why would it even be in prophecy to state that there will be earthquakes in diverse places?
Oh yeah....pffft!

Taken at face value there is nothing unusual about these quakes. It's our technology that keeps it in our face all the time. 50 to a 100 years ago the average person wouldn't even have known or cared about them unless they directly affected you.

Almost 2012.. Hihihi..I'm from Bukidnon and rumors has it that one of the peaks (Musuan Peak) is a sleeping volcano..

One out there is trying to get your attention folks....

You remember Harold Camping who predicted that the end will have come last May? See how he failed? Rememebr the Jehovahs Witnesses prediction in 1975 that the great Armageddon will have come then? 1975 has come and gone and no literal battle at Armageddon! See the commetn of Nicole. That Bible verse says we do not know when the Lord comes and so we need to be prepared always.

We are helpless about earthquakes. This is the essence of preparing ourselves by obeying the will of God. The message is simple: He who believes and is baptized (immersed) will be saved - Mk. 16:16 and then be faithful until death - Revelation 2:10. Death is inevitable. We will all sie eventually. So the important thing is be prepared always.

Yes, there are Earthquakes everyday, but they are usually low magnitue. It seems they are getting higher in magnitude lately and happening more frequently. I get the feeling there is going to be a big one very soon, be prepared California.

Oh yeah... im seeing biblical quotes and Christian fanatics blinded by faith right now. Funny how most of you believe the bible. QUAKES HAPPENS EVERYDAY! and no... quakes aren't happening more frequently, it's just that media has now some ways of reporting almost all quakes that are happening globally. pfffft!

Whatever this is, I hope nobody will get hurt. And everyone in the area must do the precautions and be ready for anything to happen.

Just another comment again I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area I am more then familiar with earthquakes as you know they can happen anywhere. That was proven on the East Coast as well as all over the world. What Oklahoma had better be concerned with is that the earthquake they had the other day has no connection with the famous New Madrid Fault Zone. If that fault goes the 1989 earthquake will be a warm up to what will happen in the midwest. They had several earthquakes of 8.0 and or slightly higher if that fault goes you will not have a midwest. Several of those major cities will be gone people make light of this and joke I am here to tell you it is NO Joke it has already happened once and it can happen again the Japan earthquake will be child's play if the New Madrid fault zone goes. Be prepared people if you live in that part of the country. If you do not believe me just go to the USGS website. Usgs.Gov. Check it out..

The article leaves the impression that the Filipinos were running around like decapitated chickens in mindless fear; although the shaking can be scary, moderate tremblors like this happen almost rountinely in the Philippine Archipelago. It's hardly newsworthy; moreover those who are 'looking' for signs of 'the end' are just fools. Quakes happen thousands of times every single day and 99.9999999999% of the time it's no big deal. But some folks justify their 'end-of-the-world' myths with examples like this.

Why all the talk about 2012 if you read the bible god say no man will know the day or the hour so how can anyone.
