    More Competitors Than Ever Will Hit the Stage for the 2011 NPC National Bodybuilding Championships

Approaching 1,000 Top Bodybuilding, Bikini, Fitness, Figure And Phisique Athletes are Signed up to Compete for the Ultimate Amateur National Titles and Pro Status on South Beach This Week. November 18th & 19th- The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater

    Never before seen record number of contestants are registered to compete in what’s shaping up to be the record breaking largest National Bodybuilding Championships! South Beach will be scorching hot as the fittest bodies in the country prepare to hit the beach to compete for the ultimate pro division status at the NPC National Bodybuilding, Figure, Bikini & Men’s & Women’s Physique Championships, presented by GNC and MuscleTech.

    The country’s leading champion bodybuilding, figure, bikini, and physique athletes will be staying at Miami’s posh Gansevoort hotel for a variety of registration and press activities taking place throughout the weekend. The Fillmore at Miami Beach Jackie Gleason Theater will be ground zero for the actual competitions, which will kick off with prejudging at 3pm Friday afternoon, November 18th.

    Additionally, the vast majority of companies and business concerns that support this competitive sport will be represented in a large lobby exhibition of their products and services.

    All the competitions are officially sanctioned by the National Physique Committee of the USA (NPC). The NPC Nationals is the ultimate yearly qualifier for IFBB pro status.

    The NPC is the NCAA of competitive amateur bodybuilding in the US and sanctions more than 1,000 events around the country. All these yearly events lead to the Nationals, its crown jewel.

    Friday, November 18th

    Men’s Bodybuilding and Women’s Bikini and Men’s Physique Preliminaries (Tickets $50 – General Admission)

    Saturday, November 19th, 8:00 a.m.

    Women’s Bodybuilding and Women’s Figure, Women’s Physique Prejudging (Tickets $40 – General Admission)

    Saturday, November 19th, 6:00 p.m.

    ALL FINALS

    (Tickets $125 & $75 – All Seats Reserved)

    Tickets are available at http://www.nationalbodybuilding.com, http://www.livenation.com or at the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater box office.

    Many of the current IFBB pro bodybuilders, fitness and figure athletes, along with many other sports celebrities will be in attendance. In years past, the event attracted a wide range of noteworthy athletes from NFL and NBA players to WWE pro wrestlers and UFC fighters.
