Moroccan inflation steady at annual 0.4 percent in April

RABAT (Reuters) - Morocco's consumer price inflation was 0.4 percent year-on-year in April, the same as in March and February, the High Planning Authority said on Wednesday. Non-food price inflation rose slightly to 1.4 percent, while the food index was up at 0.9 percent from 0.8 pct. Communications prices fell 9 percent, the agency said. On a monthly basis, inflation fell to 0.1 percent from 0.3 percent last month.
