Most blogged artists: Mark Foster, Kimbra, A-Trak produce new track for Converse

A hot topic in the music blogosphere on Tuesday, April 10, is a new track by New Zealand pop star Kimbra, Foster the People's frontman Mark Foster and Canadian electro act A-Trak. Also in the blogs, Brooklyn-based reverb rock band Dive gains some buzz with the release of a new track.

On April 5, Converse released the track “Warrior,” a collaboration featuring Foster, Kimbra, and A-Trak, as part of the Converse Three Artists - One Song series, available as a free download from the Converse Plug into Color website. “They put together a ridiculously punchy new track, complete with syncopated beats and synths galore," writes blogger Umstrum.

Four-piece indie band Dive recently signed on with Captured Tracks, which will release their debut album Oshin on June 26. Meanwhile, bloggers are swapping the LP’s first single, “How Long Have You Known.” “The track is a hazy dreamwave track in vein of [indie band] Real Estate,” writes Surviving the Golden Age.
