‘Mother’s Day’ Trailer: Roberts, Aniston, Hudson & Sudeikis Celebrate Momhood
“We’re not who the world thinks we are. We decide who we are.” Here’ s a trailer for Mother’s Day, Garry Marshall’s latest holiday-themed pic. Much like his Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve, this film tells intertwining stories about the lives of several mothers (and Mr. Mom) as the title holiday approaches. The ensemble cast includes Julia Roberts (successful work-o-holic host), Jennifer Aniston (a recent divorcee), Kate Hudson (a mom seeking to reconnect with her own mother) and Jason Sudeikis (single dad rising two daughters). Timothy Olyphant, Margo Martindale, Shay Mitchell, Britt Robertson, Cameron Esposito and Hector Elizondo round out the cast.
Anya Kochoff Romano and Matt Walker & Tom Hines wrote the feel-good screenplay, with Wayne Rice and Mike Karz serving as producers. Open Road will release the film in theaters on April 29, the weekend before Mother’s Day.
