Motorola’s next budget phone might be more exciting than you think

Launched in 2013 as a budget option for smartphone buyers looking for affordable devices, the Moto G became a quick hit in various markets, especially emerging ones. The company released a second-generation Moto G model last year, and it looks like Motorola might be preparing a third-gen device for a 2015 launch. According to a new report, the new Moto G might be a lot more exciting than you think.

While Motorola is yet to officially announce it, the smartphone has apparently been sighted on Flipkart.com, although the temporary product page isn’t available anymore, as Tutto Android reports – a Google cache version still exists though, and you can check it out at this link.

According to it, the third generation Moto G has model number AP3460AD1K8 and comes in an 8GB version.

While the page doesn’t offer other specs for the device, online publication GadgetRaid quotes some rather high-end specs for the Moto G, as spotted in previous reports. The device might feature some impressive specs for a budget smartphone, including a 5-inch or 5.2-inch display with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080), 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 chip, 2GB of RAM and 4G LTE support. However, there’s no further proof to back up these hardware details at this time.
