    MUSA and AGU Announce Partnership - Expanding Sm@rtline Data Cockpit (SDC) Operations to North America

    MUSA Technology Partners and AGU Planungsgesellschaft mbH today announced that the two companies have partnered to expand Sm@rtLine Data Cockpit® (SDC) into North America. As part of this agreement, MUSA Technology Partners, a leading provider of software, technology products and consulting services to companies in the Life Sciences industry, will be the exclusive North American value-added reseller responsible for distribution, sales, support and operations for AGU’s SDC in the United States and Canada.

    MUSA Technology Partners and AGU Planungsgesellschaft mbH today announced that the two companies have partnered to expand Sm@rtLine Data Cockpit® (SDC) into North America. As part of this agreement, MUSA Technology Partners, a leading provider of software, technology products and consulting services to companies in the Life Sciences industry, will be the exclusive North American value-added reseller responsible for distribution, sales, support and operations for AGU’s SDC in the United States and Canada.

    “Sm@rtline Data Cockpit is a solution which Roche Cedex analysts should not go without. SDC integrates data between LIMS, MES, DCS and the instrument sensors and analyzers. SDC automates the instrument interface, data processing and systems approval process, removing the need for lengthy paper alternatives based around manual data entry,” explained Douglas Lantigua, Principal of MUSA Technology Partners. “SDC has a history of improving quality, reducing costs and shortening the length of discovery for the Pharmaceutical and BIO-API industries. Together with AGU, MUSA is excited to expand the North American market.”

    Sm@rtline Data Cockpit has been welcomed into the European market and has enjoyed industry success. Building on those achievements, MUSA and AGU have partnered to allow MUSA the exclusive rights to North American sales for SDC and to make it available to all customers in the BIO-API industry throughout the United States and Canada. On behalf of AGU, MUSA will consult with clients to meet their R&D and manufacturing requirements. Additionally, MUSA will be available for end-user support, implementations and training by SDC-trained MUSA resources. Implementations can range from single instruments to enterprise-wide deployments within compliance-bound laboratories. MUSA has years of experience with LIMS, MES and DCS systems wrapped with regulatory challenges and, according to client requirements, will work with its clients to also come up with a qualification plan.

    Sm@rtline Data Cockpit is a unique software system which enables the use of sensors and analyzers for the collection, review and approval of trial results in laboratories. The technician is no longer required to manually start and read measurements from the devices, but, rather, the measurements for these devices are reported centrally on the SDC server. SDC currently supports the Cedex Bio, Cedex HiRes, Cedex Standard and the Cobas technology analyzer lines and may also be connected to existing master systems such as LIMS, MES and DCS automation technology.
