The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Homestead-Miami Speedway for Sunday's Ford EcoBoost 400.

Kasey Kahne is the defending race winner.

Brad Keselowski: Tony Stewart did it last year, and Keselowski will do it this year – winning the title with an exclamation point. Jimmie Johnson tried to get into Keselowski's head, but that's not happening. Bad Brad is too mentally strong and too good on 1.5-mile tracks. He gets the win and the title. – Jay Hart

Matt Kenseth: It makes perfect, symmetrical sense: Kenseth winning his last race in a Ford at a Ford-branded event. Kenseth has been money throughout the year, except when he's had pieces falling off his car. He, or whoever wins, will be a sidelight to the main show, but he'll get himself rolling into 2013 and Joe Gibbs Racing on a high note. – Jay Busbee

Carl Edwards: Why not, right? He's got the best average finish of any driver at Homestead, and that includes two wins, and the only time he's ever finished outside the top 10 in South Florida was in his first race in 2004. Plus, it'd be a fitting end to Edwards' 2012 if he won and was immediately overshadowed by the championship. – Nick Bromberg

• Goodbye 2012 car, we hardly knew you. This is the final race for this current Sprint Cup car iteration, so if you're in the Charlotte area, you may want to start checking Craigslist. You could have yourself a race car for pennies on the dollar. – Nick Bromberg

• The furious battle for 20th! Can Jamie McMurray hold off Aric Almirola? No, of course the big story is Keselowski vs. Johnson, and there will be guessing and second-guessing about Keselowski's strategy no matter what he does. Run up front? Prevent defense? Stick to the 48's bumper? All have merit, and all have pitfalls. Going to be fun to see how Keselowski handles playing with a lead. – Jay Busbee

• Keep an eye on Roger Penske. The Captain has never won a Cup title, and Sunday could be his first. Brad Keselowski figures to be the man of the hour – unbelievable, right? – but Penske deserves a ton of credit for taking a chance on him three years ago. – Jay Hart
