The National Camp Series (NCS) kicking camp held on October 16th, 2011, in Orlando, FL, featured talented kickers, punters and long snappers seeking college exposure using the KIX (Kicking IndeX) Player Index Rating and professional instruction by former University of Florida kicker Nick Fleming.

The NCS event, hosted by Coach Nick Fleming of All American Kicking, drew some of the area's best college prospects to compete with each-other. More importantly, players have the opportunity to see where they rank along with other kickers from across the nation on the NCS KIX Rating System.
The day provided many great looking kicks, but one kicker in particular stood out. Daniel Krysalka of Ocala Forest (FL) HS wowed coaches and fellow kickers with his booming Kickoffs, avg. 77 yards per kick, with his longest of the day traveling 83 yards.
"Daniel was very impressive. He showed today why he will be one of the top kickers in the state, and possibly in the country, with his kickoffs," said Coach Fleming. "Without a doubt he has one of the strongest legs in the country as he showed that today. Best part about Daniel is he is only a Junior, so he has an entire year to keep improving before he gets to college."
For the seniors, many athletes stepped up and showed why they are the area's best. Over half of all kickoffs went sailing into the end zone and a great amount of punts traveling well over 40 yards!
"We had a lot of good seniors out here today looking for their chance to shine. Sean Kelly of West Orange (FL) HS stood out across the board. He looked solid in all three areas and once he 'tweaks' a few things in his swing we pointed out today, he will be even better. Sean is very close to being that scholarship guy!" Coach Fleming added.
With all the impressive upperclassmen, it would be easy to overlook the younger athletes, but that wasn't the case at this event! "We has some great Sophomores out here today as well. Christian Periera of Timber Creek (FL) HS and Austin Jones of Boone (FL) HS, are two of our more seasoned competitors, especially as sophomores. Both demonstrated powerful legs, nice mechanics, and good accuracy for their age groups. Without question these two are on track to be something special!"
Wrapping up the day, Coach Fleming discussed mechanics and recruiting, or answered any questions parents and athletes had about the NCS or next steps for them. "That's what makes the NCS great. It is a fraternity of kicking coaches that come together to give these athletes a legitimate, unbiased evaluation for these athletes to see where they stack up and help them get to the next level," Fleming said.
