Vigor, a new all-natural fertilizer containing the recently discovered ingredient that triggers plant growth and a special trace minerals package, will be released in February by Dynamite Specialty Products.

Vigor fertilizer is designed for lawns, trees, houseplants and gardens, said Jos Zamzow, Dynamite chief operating officer. The all-natural fertilizer has a sugar cane molasses base, selected because it smells good, does not attract ants and discourages nematodes, a kind of parasitic worm.
Like all Dynamite natural fertilizers, Vigor is non-leaching. This means that it stays in the soil until plants need it.

Supplies are limited because it takes three years to produce the product, derived from an edible mushroom grown on a sterile mixture of pineapple and papaya puree, sugarcane molasses and water.
