Jan 10 (The Sports Xchange) - The New Orleans Pelicans announced Friday that point guard Jrue Holiday is out indefinitely with a fractured right tibia. Holiday played 29 minutes in Wednesday night's 102-96 loss to the visiting Washington Wizards, but it is not clear how he injured his leg. He scored eight points on 3-of-11 shooting with three assists, three rebounds and three steals. Holiday is averaging 14.3 points, 7.9 assists and 4.2 rebounds in 34 games this season. - - - Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe had successful arthroscopic surgery on meniscus cartilage in his right knee, the team announced. Bledsoe, who has missed the past four games, will immediately begin rehabbing the knee and may possibly return sometime during the second half of this season. He is averaging 18.0 points, 5.8 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 24 games this season, his first with the Suns. - - - Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo does not know exactly when he will make his 2013-2014 debut, but he said it will be before the All-Star break. "It may be this month (or) next month," Rondo said during the Celtics' morning shootaround before Friday night's game against the Golden State Warriors. "It'll be before All-Star break." The Celtics' final game before the All-Star Game is Feb. 12 against the San Antonio Spurs in Boston.
