Less than an hour to go until show-time finds Golden Globes co-host Amy Poehler all smiles as she walks the red carpet, pausing to exchange greetings with actress Emma Thompson.

"So great to meet you!" said Poehler, offering a hug to Thompson's date for the evening — the actress' daughter.
