Nevron Text Editor review

Nevron Text Editor is an alternative word processing program that includes all of the features you'd expect from top-of-the-line software. Its interface will be familiar to anyone who has used a word processor before, and it supports multiple file formats to ensure compatibility with almost all types of documents.

Pros

Clear controls: No matter what type of feature you're looking for, you're likely to find it right where you'd expect in this program. It's also quite easy to insert page breaks, images, tables, page numbers, date and time, and much more.

Export formats: When you save your work, you can choose from quite a few available file formats, depending on what you want to do with the file and who you want to share it with. Options include PDF, Plain Text, Word Document, Rich Text Format, Web Page, Nevron XML, and more.

Cons

Bugs and broken buttons: During testing, we did encounter a few minor issues with the program. For instance, closing one open document window actually closed all open windows without warning, which was not expected and not our intention and not what we expected. There is also a Register button, but clicking it produced no response at all.

Bottom Line

Nevron Text Editor is a smooth and convenient free alternative to Microsoft Word or other paid word processing programs. It offers all the expected features in a familiar layout; and with a few minor exceptions, it performed well during testing.
