Stunning New Shots Of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman Revealed

Entertainment Weekly has revealed new stills from ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ as part of their Comic Con issue.

The magazine’s cover also shows off a new look at the film’s stars Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman - the DC Comics trinity. Check it out in all it’s glory below.

In the new images we get a look at Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor with long and greasy hair and Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot dancing at a “high society function” as their Batman and Wonder Woman alter egos Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince. Sadly not in costume.

“I love the fact that there was this 'Thomas Crowne Affair’, Bond-y sexy scene that they wrote about two people who are pretending to be two different people who each know the secrets of the other person,” said Ben Affleck to EW.

Those worried about Luthor’s hair are assured in the picture’s caption that the character’s famously bald head - as revealed at an earlier date - will still feature in the movie.

Other pictures show scenes glimpsed in the movie’s tease trailer while a final one depicts the two title stars coming face-to-face ahead of their (presumably) epic clash. There is also confirmation that Batman’s armour will come equipped with Kryptonite - the element which can be fatal to Superman.

“I like to think that 'Man of Steel’ was the perspective of the world from Clark, Kal-El, looking at the world and trying to exist with in it,” says Superman himself Henry Cavill. “'Batman v Superman’ is definitely more mankind’s perspective of Superman.”

'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ will be one of the biggest movies at San Diego Comic Con alongside 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens’. Marvel Studios will be skipping the event this year, meaning sadly we’ll have to wait for news about 'Captain America: Civil War’ and the rest of their Phase Three plans.

Zack Snyder’s titanic film is set for release on 25 March 2016.
