Emhoff, 25, is one of second gentleman Doug Emhoff's two children from his first marriage.

Her Instagram story marked her first online acknowledgement of Harris' presidential bid as a potential first family member.

Her brother, Cole Emhoff, 29, whose last Instagram post was in 2021, does not appear to be active on social media.

In a 2019 essay for Elle magazine, Harris wrote that the Emhoff children decided to call her "Momala" when they wed in 2014. Following Ella Emhoff's appearance at the 2021 inauguration in an embellished Miu Miu coat, she signed with the modeling agency IMG.

Harris has embraced a youthful media strategy propelled by coconut memes and endorsements from celebrities like Charli XCX after President Joe Biden's exit from the 2024 presidential race launched her own presidential campaign.
