L.A. home of rapper Blxst broken into while he was ‘across the country’ for debut album release

Rapper Blxst had his home broken into while he was ‘across the country’ promoting his debut album.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to KTLA that the home invasion occurred on July 16 while the reporting party and two children were inside.

According to an Instagram post from the L.A. native, his son called him at 4 a.m. that morning telling him “I think bad guys are in the house.”

The post also shows footage of the suspects sprinting out of the home through the same door they broke through with several objects in their hands.

They were then seen scaling a wall and hopping over the gate to the home’s driveway.

Blxst, according to the Instagram post, was “across the country” for the release of his debut album ‘I’ll Always Come Find You.’

“The level of strength it [takes] to not crash out [right now]…imagine being across the country away from my family during one of the heights of my career and waking up to my son FaceTiming at 4 a.m. saying ‘I think bad guys are in the house’,” the post’s caption read.  “Words can’t express the frustration and the emptiness in my heart and soul not being able to be there to protect my boys.”

In the caption, the 31-year-old said is family is “good overall” and asked for people’s prayers.

The LAPD was unable to provide any further information surrounding the break-in.
