Jul. 26—Man arrested in alleged pistol assault
CUMBERLAND — A Polk Street man was found bleeding from the face late Thursday and a suspect who allegedly struck the victim with a BB pistol was arrested a short time later by Allegany County sheriff's deputies, according to Cumberland Police.
Christian Harper, 25, of Cumberland, was taken into custody on charges of first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and violation of a protective order.
Harper was ordered confined to the Allegany County Detention Center on $15,000 bond.
