Man found unresponsive in Lauderdale Lakes pool, paramedics say

A man in his 20s was found unresponsive in a Lauderdale Lakes swimming pool Monday morning, according to Broward Sheriff’s Office firefighters.

The man, thought to be 27 or 28 years old, was found around 9:10 a.m. in a pool behind a house in the 4200 block of Northwest 31st Terrace.

Battalion Chief Michael Kane, a BSO Fire Rescue spokesman, said the man was in cardiac arrest when paramedics arrived. The medics were able to resuscitate him and get him to a hospital for treatment, Kane said.

The man’s condition was not immediately known. Fire Rescue has not identified the man.
