In-N-Out Burger opens new location in Orange County

The City of Orange has waited a long time but a new In-N-Out Burger location is finally opening.

The iconic California chain will open for business Friday at The Outlets at Orange shopping center located at 250 The City Drive South, it announced in a news release.

“The restaurant will employ approximately 80 In-N-Out Burger Associates with a starting wage of $22.00 per hour,” In-N-Out stated in the release.

The location will have one drive-thru lane and indoor seating for 74 guests. A covered patio will be able to seat another 30 guests outside.

All In-N-Out Burger locations are open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. and until 1:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

In-N-Out originally applied for a conditional use permit to build the restaurant in Orange back in August of 2020, the Orange County Register reported.

The new location can be found in the shopping center across the parking lot from the Nike Factory Store.

Meanwhile, a recent viral video purporting to show a “secret menu item” drew a response from owner Lynsi Snyder.

Snyder shut down speculation about a “Monkey Style” burger when she responded to the post with two emojis: a skeptical face (with a raised eyebrow) and a thumbs down.

In-N-Out has undergone massive expansion in recent years, with locations now throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, and Idaho.

New restaurants are due to open in Redlands and Sylmar.
