One dead in SW Oklahoma City vehicle fire

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR)- OKCPD and OKCFD responded to a vehicle fire at 5600 S Rockwell Ave early Sunday morning.

OKCPD PIO confirmed an adult male pulled over his car in a nearby road verge and the car exploded and engulfed in flames.

The victim couldn’t get out of the car in time and died at the scene.

Officials at the scene stated no foul play was involved.

The scene of the fire is under investigation.
