Pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli demonstrators clash outside synagogue in Los Angeles

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of a protest in the heavily Jewish neighborhood of Pico-Robertson in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon, authorities confirmed.

Authorities with the Los Angeles Police Department, who responded to the scene in riot gear, said reports about the incident in the 9000 block of West Pico Boulevard came in at around 10 a.m.

According to video posted to the Citizen app, pro-Palestinian protesters blocked the entrance to a synagogue.

In additional footage obtained by KTLA, scattered violence could be seen breaking out among the crush of dueling demonstrators in the street and on the sidewalk.

At least one person was arrested and another suffered minor injuries.

No additional details were immediately made available.
