Roads closed in multiple counties in PA

EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says multiple roads across the Keystone State were impacted after thunderstorms.

Drivers were advised by PennDOT many roads were closed or had a lane restriction in place because of downed utilities or trees.

Columbia County

  • Kachinka Hollow Road (Route 1019) between Martzville Road (Route 1014) and Jonestown Road (Route 1025) in Briar Creek Township for downed trees into utilities.

  • Foundryville Road (Route 1025) between Water Dam Road (Route 1029) and Dairy Road / Twin Church Road (Route 1018) in Briar Creek Township for downed trees into utilities.

  • Martzville Road (Route 1014) between Kachinka Hollow Road (Route 1019) and Dickson Street in Briar Creek Township for downed trees into utilities.

  • Route 93 between Fowlersville Road (Route1008) in North Centre Township and Freas Avenue / Park Road in Briar Creek Township for downed trees into utilities.

Lycoming County

  • Lycoming Creek Road (Route 1017) between Trout Run Mountain Road (Route 1002) in Lewis Township and Route 973 in Hepburn Township for downed trees into utilities.
