Southern California Mega Millions player wins over $548K as jackpot continues to climb

While no one was able to claim the current Mega Millions jackpot, one Southern California player is now more than half a million dollars richer.

According to California Lottery officials, the top winning ticket for Friday’s draw was sold at the Vons located at 7311 North Figueroa Street in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Eagle Rock.

The player matched five numbers – 10, 17, 23, 50 and 67 – to win $548,195.

Since there was no jackpot winner, the current grand prize is now $251 million.

Lottery officials stated that there were 99,493 other winning tickets drawn on Friday, with prizes that ranged from $2 to $12,843.
