Long Beach street taco vendor robbed at gunpoint

A taco vendor in Long Beach was the victim of an armed robbery overnight.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, officers responded to the corner of Cedar Avenue and Willow Street around 10 p.m. Tuesday night.

The workers alleged that a masked man on a bicycle rode up to their pop-up taco stand, flashed a gun at them and demanded their money.

He was able to get away with $3,500, preliminary information indicates.

Video obtained by KTLA shows police interviewing the employees and potential witnesses as customers continued to order food.

The suspect was said to have fled westbound on Willow Street on a bicycle.

No further details were immediately released.
