2 killed in 3 separate shootings in Lancaster

Three shootings in the span of two hours Tuesday night left two men dead, one hospitalized and investigators in Lancaster wondering if the incidents are connected.

The first shooting was reported at 7:21 p.m. near West Avenue J-8 and 30th Street West.

One patient with a gunshot wound was found at the location and transported to a local hospital, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department confirmed.

The condition of the victim was not released.

About an hour and a half later and less than five miles away, a second man was found with a gunshot wound near West Avenue H-8 and Sierra Highway.

The unidentified victim in that shooting was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department stated in a news release.

The third incident was reported at 9:20 p.m. about four miles away at a Chevron gas station near East Avenue L and 4th Street East.

Another man was found with a gunshot wound and taken to a local hospital. The unidentified victim was pronounced dead, the Sheriff’s Department confirmed.

Investigators have not released a motive for the shootings or determined if they are connected.

No descriptions of a suspect, or suspects, have been released.
