Former President Donald Trump is returning to Butler, Pennsylvania, less than a month after a would-be assassin shot him, killed a rally attendee and critically wounded two other people.

Trump made the announcement on his Truth Social platform Friday afternoon.

Writing in his signature all-caps style, the 78-year-old one-term president said: "I WILL BE GOING BACK TO BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA, FOR A BIG AND BEAUTIFUL RALLY, HONORING THE SOUL OF OUR BELOVED FIREFIGHTING HERO, COREY, AND THOSE BRAVE PATRIOTS INJURED TWO WEEKS AGO. WHAT A DAY IT WILL BE — FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT! STAY TUNED FOR DETAILS."

Trump’s Butler announcement comes one day after he said he’ll be in Harrisburg later next week, his first campaign rally in Pennsylvania since the attempt on his life by Thomas Matthew Crooks.

There was no date announced for the Butler rally or location revealed. The Secret Service has advised the GOP nominee to keep his events inside.
