WOODBRIDGE – Two juveniles have been charged with attempted murder in the stabbings of two others Thursday night on Green Street.

Around 9 p.m. July 18, police officers responded to an area of Green Street on reports of a fight where an investigation found that four juveniles who knew each other were fighting, and two of them were stabbed numerous times in the arm, thigh, abdomen and chest, Woodbridge Police Officer Brian Murphy said.

Two of the juveniles were taken to local area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, Murphy said.

The two suspects were arrested and detained in a juvenile detention facility, the officer said.

The juveniles were charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, Murphy said.
