The Nexus 6 might be significantly delayed in certain major markets

T-Mobile forced to push back Nexus 6 launch to offer customers ‘best experience possible’

Google will start taking Nexus 6 preorders in a week in the U.S., but a launch date for the handset isn’t yet available. Furthermore, it’s not clear when the device will hit other major international markets, as MoDaCo’s Paul O’Brien claims on Twitter that U.K. Android fans looking to purchase a Nexus phablet might have to wait for a long time to get their hands on one.

FROM EARLIER: This is when you’ll finally be able to preorder Google’s amazing new Nexus 6

“Think you’re getting a Nexus 6 in the U.K. before December? Think again!” O’Brien wrote on Twitter.

Just like other Nexus devices before it, the Nexus 6 is expected to launch in a variety of other markets. Of those, the U.K. is certainly one of the most important ones, but official Nexus 6 launch details for the country are not available at this time.

In the U.S., in addition to Google, various carriers will sell the Nexus 6, including the main four mobile operators. However, Google has yet to specify whether similar deals with U.K. carriers are also in place for the Nexus 6.

On the other hand, Google had Nexus supply issues for previous smartphones, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see shipping delays for the Nexus 6 as well.
