NFF to make Keshi decision

NFF looking to foreign coach

The Nigerian sports ministry have confirmed that the Nigeria Football Federation will make the final decision on the re-appointment of Stephen Keshi. Keshi has been in negotiations with the NFF since his contract ended after the World Cup, and it took a special request by the ministry for the coach to oversee the side's recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. According to the Sports Minister's media assistant, Patrick Omorodion, the ministry has left it up to the football body to decide on the future coach. "It is up to the NFF to decide who handles the Eagles. The Minister only requested that Keshi should handle the two games, since there was a vacuum," Omorodion told the Vanguard. "He (the minister) offered to pay for the services rendered by coach Keshi. But now that the two games are done with, it is squarely at the feet of the NFF to decide."
