Dec 28 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Sunday's National Hockey League games: - - - Ducks 2, Canucks 1 (Overtime) Defenseman Cam Fowler scored at 2:32 of overtime and goaltender Frederik Andersen made 13 saves as the Anaheim Ducks defeated the Vancouver Canucks. Fowler cashed in a rebound of a tip-in attempt by right wing Devante Smith-Pelly for his fifth goal and second game winner of the season. The victory prevented Anaheim (24-8-6) from losing consecutive games for the first time since Nov. 28-29 and extended their Pacific division lead to 11 points over Los Angeles and San Jose. Trailing 1-0 entering the third period, the Ducks evened the game on defenseman Francois Beauchemin's first goal of the season at 6:52. - - - Panthers 6, Maple Leafs 4 Brad Boyes scored a tiebreaking power-play goal with 3:15 remaining in the third period and the Florida Panthers overcame a two-goal deficit in a win against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Maple Leafs (20-13-3) scored four times in a span of just over 12 minutes in the second period to grab a 4-2 advantage. Florida defensemen Dmitry Kulikov and Willie Mitchell started the comeback for Florida with goals nearly eight minutes apart in the third. Boyes gave the Panthers the lead when he tipped in a Kulkov shot past goaltender James Reimer.
