Nick Jonas Reunites with Kate Hudson Amid Reports He's Dating Lily Collins: 'There's Definitely an Attraction There'

Days after being linked to Lily Collins, Nick Jonas reunited with reported flame Kate Hudson over Super Bowl weekend.

Jonas, 23, and Hudson, 36 – who first sparked romance rumors in the fall – both hit up DirecTV's Super Bowl party at Pier 70 in San Francisco, where they hung with mutual friend including Derek and Julianne Hough and Nina Dobrev.

"They stopped talking for a little bit just because they were sort of in different mindsets, but that happened for only a few weeks," a source tells PEOPLE, adding it was during that period that Jonas started hanging out with Collins. (An insider at the time told PEOPLE it's "new" and "casual.")

"Nick and Lily have been talking and spending a little bit of time together ... then Kate and Nick reconnected this weekend," the source adds.

As for what the pair's relationship actually is, the singer and actress seem to still be figuring it out themselves.

"[The] age gap is a little bit of a concern," says the source. "There's definitely an attraction there, and they're just trying to figure out how to make sense of the situation."

Jonas and Hudson have yet to confirm their relationship, let alone define it publicly. But the "Levels" singer – who will hit the road with pal Demi Lovato for their Future Now tour in June – opened up ever so slightly about their relationship in his Complex cover story.

"Kate's incredible. We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other and see something in each other that's beautiful," he told the magazine.

"Out of my best effort to respect her and her privacy, I'm not going to say if we had sex or not. But we did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect she's amazing," he added.

Reps for Jonas, Hudson and Collins are not commenting.
