Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey are continuing to battle it out in the press and on Twitter just two days after a video surfaced showing a heated blowout between the fellow "American Idol" judges.
Nicki slammed Mariah after Mariah spoke to Barbara Walters about the incident.
"I don't call tmz n Barbara Walters cuz I stand on my own two feet. Never needed an army. God is good. Insecurity is as cruel as the grave," she Tweeted.
According to Barbara, Mariah told her - which she recounted on Thursday's "The View" - that "Nicki walked off the set and multiple people heard Nicki say, 'If I had a gun I would shoot the b****.'"
Mariah also told Barbara that she has hired extra security and that Nicki has expressed love for her, but has yet to apologize.
Nicki continued to blast Mariah on Twitter in series of posts.
"I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we've had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn," she wrote. "Tried to keep quiet but let's go!!!!... I thought we resolved it yesterday but I see u want ur pity party to continue. So I'm bout to po dot tea."
Nicki ended her Twitter rant labeling Mariah with a new nickname.
"All I do is compliment u. That's not enuff? Ur a legend, cheer up. U don't have to run down ur resume or feel intimidated. Shady McGrady..." Nicki Tweeted.
Fellow new judge Keith Urban also spoke out about the incident on Wednesday night, telling reporters at the New York Film Festival gala honoring his wife, Nicole Kidman, "Playing the U.N., yeah, it's great. I mean look, we're all passionate people and we're learning a new dance... we're all a work in progress."
