NIKEiD Now Lets You Add Safari Print to the Kobe X

Kobe Bryant has always been a different beast on the court, and his Nike signature shoes have regularly taken inspiration from a variety of wild animals. Naturally, Bryant's shoe often reflect his "Black Mamba" nickname, but other animals such as cheetahs, sharks, and even poison dart frogs have made their way onto his sneakers. Continuing with this animal theme, NIKEiD is not giving us the ability to add a "safari" print to the Kobe X.

Aside from a nod to the comparisons between Bryant's game and wild predators, this "Safari" option is also one of Nike's most popular prints. Originally debuted on the 1987 "Air Safari," this wild pattern has remained a fixture in a number of Nike models and fits perfectly into Kobe Bryant's sneaker catalog.

You can create your own Kobe X now for $225 at Nike.com.
