    North American Van Lines Joins Fight to End Hunger

    Becomes Epic Level Partner with Non-Profit Organization Move For Hunger

    North American Van Lines, Inc., one of the world’s largest moving companies, is proud to announce its Epic Level corporate partnership with Move For Hunger, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting hunger through partnerships with moving companies. The partnership was first announced at the 2011 North American Van Lines National Convention, held October 3-6, 2011 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

    Move For Hunger works with moving companies across the country to pick up unwanted, unopened non-perishable food from those who are relocating and deliver it to local food banks across the country. To achieve its Epic level partnership status, North American Van Lines raised a generous cash donation of more than $37,000 at its national convention from both corporate sources and participating agents.

    “Helping to be a partner to fight hunger in America is an incredible opportunity for us,” said Dan Robertson, General Manager of North American Van Lines. “We are excited about working with Move For Hunger and making a difference in millions of people’s lives in the process.”

    North American Van Lines has a growing list of agents offering this food donation service to their customers as a part of the Move For Hunger program and will plan to integrate efforts through local food drives and its corporate service centers to collect food year round.
