Norway Suspect to Plead 'Not Guilty'

Anders Behring Breivik, the Norway massacre suspect, is set to appear in court Monday for the first time, BBC News reportsThe Guardian is reporting that Breivik is going to plead "not guilty" for all criminal charges. Breivik killed 93 people after bombing downtown Norway, and then opening fire on a youth camp shortly after. Breivik, despite his plea plans, admitted the operation to his lawyer, and said it was "gruesome having to commit these acts, but in his head they were necessary." The attack has illuminated a growing problem of anti-Islamic sentiment in Europe. According the The Guardian, Norwegian police are currently trying to figure out if he worked alone. Some witnesses from the youth camp where he opened fire have claimed to see two gunmen. BBC News is reporting Breivik is planning to "explain his actions to the court."
