Norway's Aksel Lund Svindal completes sweep of Lake Louise World Cup races

LAKE LOUISE, Alta. - Aksel Lund Svindal of Norway completed a sweep at the Lake Louise Winterstart World Cup by winning Sunday's super-G race.

Svindal also won Saturday's downhill, making him the first man to win both events at Lake Louise since American Bode Miller in 2004.

Svindal's time of one minute 34.96 seconds was .85 seconds faster than runner-up Adrien Theaux of France. Joachim Puchner of Austria was third in 1:35.86.

Erik Guay of Mont-Tremblant, Que., was the top Canadian in 11th and Calgary's John Kucera was 14th.
