Nottingham: Crews respond to car fire in basement of city flats

Emergency services are dealing with a fire in the basement of a block of flats in Nottingham.

Firefighters were called to a building on Huntingdon Street, Nottingham, at 03:27 BST on Monday.

Fire officer Tom Staples said the blaze had involved two cars in the basement of the building.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews would be at the scene for "some time" and urged people to avoid the area.
