Got an iPhone with a broken screen? Good news: you can now trade it in at an Apple (AAPL) store for some credit towards another handset, according to multiple reports.

Apple's "Reuse and Recycling" program had, up until now, allowed customers to trade in undamaged older iPhone models for credit.

But the change in the service means consumers are now able to trade-in iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 and 6 Plus units with damaged displays, cameras and buttons, as well as older models, according to a report in the 9To5Mac blog, citing sources. The damage on the iPhone must be "within reason", the article adds.

The trade-in values differ depending on the model, but the report says that a user can expect to receive $50 for a 5s, $200 for an iPhone 6, and $250 for a 6 Plus device.

Apple's share price has come under pressure recently over concerns about iPhone sales. The U.S. technology giant will be hoping that this new initiative will push people to trade in older phones for money towards the latest models, especially with the iPhone 7 slated to be launched this year.

9To5Mac's report also suggests that Apple will be putting screen protector installation machines in its stores. If Apple makes an error when installing a screen protector, the company will offer a free replacement, according to the report.
