An ancient Roman marble relief panel with Dionysiac decoration, which once belonged to French writer Émile Zola, is on display at Sotheby's in New York, on December 8. The panel sold for well over its estimated value Thursday, going for 1.5 million dollars, auction house Sotheby's said.
