"200 One Dollar Bills," a gray and black work by Andy Warhol showing 200 life-sized images of dollar bills, was estimated to sell for $8 to 12 mln at Sotheby's in New York but went for $43.8 mln after a dramatic bidding war. After the auction, Sotheby's contemporary art director, Tobias Meyer, said the art market was rebounding.
