US pop icon Britney Spears (pictured in August) has broken her silence on the lip-synching "controversy" surrounding her first Australian tour, saying she was only here for her fans. Spears acknowledged there had been some bad press over her part-mimed 'Circus' show, including reports that disgruntled fans walked out of her Perth concert after just three songs.
