Protesters stand behind a police barricade during a 24-hour nationwide strike and march called by different organizations to protest against the high prices of staple food and gasoline in Panama City September 4, 2008.There is a possibility of an indefinite strike if the government does not resolve the high prices. This was announced by the leaders of the different organizations.
