Pakistani women taking participate in a rally calling for the release of Aafia Siddiqui, who is currently being detained in the U.S., near President House in Islamabad, Pakistan, Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008. An MIT-educated Pakistani woman allegedly linked to al-Qaida appeared in federal court in New York City on Tuesday, Aug. 5, to face charges she tried to kill U.S. employees in a gunfight in Afghanistan after police said they discovered suspicious documents about explosives and landmarks in her handbag.
